The Alpine Shire Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced electrical contractors for the upgrading of the electrical services at the Myrtleford Memorial Hall. This project is designed to bring all the connected electrical services up to current regulation and install new services required for the refurbishment and internal extension of the building. All existing wiring needs to be checked before it is reconnected and a testing schedule with safety certificate will be required.
The Myrtleford Memorial Hall built in 1925 is a heritage listed building that by approximately 1968 had seen a change of façade and the addition of a foyer space, attached to amenities leading into the main auditorium. It’s construction in 1925 and was of great significance to the town of Myrtleford. The Myrtleford Memorial Hall is now to be internally refurbished and extended to provide the new home for the Myrtleford Visitor Information Centre.
