Council currently operates a licenced landfill at Myrtleford Landfill/Transfer Station. Materials are currently baled, wrapped and then placed in approved landfill cells. Council will be ceasing landfill operations at the site early in 2017 and will be transporting unbaled landfill material from the site to another licenced landfill. Council is inviting tenders for the collection, transportation and disposal of this material. The tender does not call for the operations of the Myrtleford site. Materials will be handled at the site, including placement of materials into bins for transport by the site operator.
