The Alpine Shire requests tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the demolition and full deck replacement of Roberts Creek Road Bridge No. 3 in Porepunkah, Victoria.
Following recent success at the “Bridges Renewal Programme” Round 3 funding from the Victorian State Government (Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources – DEDJTR), Alpine Shire has commissioned a design to facilitate a load limit increase to SM1600. The works will involve the demolition of the existing timber deck and steel beams and the construction of a new steel and precast concrete deck including guardrail and approach earthworks.
This tender is one of three separate tenders for bridges on Roberts Creek Road. The other two comprising carbon fibre strengthening and repairs to abutment fender walls.
