The Alpine Shire requests tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the construction of new concrete fender panels and reinstatement of rock beaching to the Roberts Creek Road Bridge No. 2 in Porepunkah, Victoria.
Following recent success at the “Bridges Renewal Programme” Round 3 funding from the Victorian State Government (Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport and Resources – DEDJTR), Alpine Shire has commissioned a design to shore up the existing capacity of the bridge to ensure it is compatible with the other two bridges at the ends of the Roberts Ck Rd bridge network.
This tender is one of three separate tenders for bridges on Roberts Creek Road. The other two comprising carbon fibre strengthening and a full deck reconstruction.
