Alpine Shire Council requests tenders from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to develop a roadmap for Community Climate Action.
The intentions of the roadmap are to inform the future development of a Community Climate Action Plan(s), including:
• Scoping and understanding activities for community climate action,
• Undertake community consultation and engagement to determine where community priorities lie and to create community ownership,
• Outline ongoing community engagement opportunities and requirements to ensure a successful Community Climate Action Plan,
• Recommend a suitable approach for community climate action; be it a staged approach or a long term prioritised, scheduled and budgeted commitment,
• Determine resource implications to Council of working with the community to develop and implement a Community Climate Action Plan.
