The Alpine Shire requests a schedule of rates from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the maintenance grading of the Dargo High Plains Road, Buckland Valley Road, Abbeyard Road and Rose River Road.
Works will include forming, moisture conditioning, grading and compacting of the unsealed roads as well as culvert and open drain cleaning. Renewal of some culverts and headwalls may be required.
Successful tenderer’s shall have prior experience in all aspects of unsealed road grading, drainage maintenance and renewal works including works on alpine roads, within a National Park, and in possible extreme alpine weather conditions.
