Council is seeking expressions of interest from Proponents to enter into an agreement, under which the Proponent will manage, maintain and operate the Premises as a quality mountain bike park and multi-purpose community recreation facility.
Council’s principal objectives are to:
- achieve a high quality mountain bike park and recreation trail network
- select an experienced and well credentialed Proponent to enter a Contract;
- ensure that Mystic Park is managed to a high standard over the term of the Contract;
- ensure that the natural environment of the Premises is conserved and maintained;
- ensure the park is accessible to the community and visitors for the purpose of community recreation; and
- ensure continued collaboration and communication with key stakeholders of the park including but not limited to paragliders, hang gliders, cyclists, walkers, runners and dog-walkers.
Council’s above objectives are not listed in any order of importance.
