Alpine Shire Council is seeking the services of suitably qualified consultants to undertake three separate designs for bridge strengthening works on three bridges located in Porepunkah, VIC. The bridges are part of the Roberts Ck Rd network linking Porepunkah and Bright along a rapidly growing agriculture and economic corridor between the two towns.
The design work shall consider a range of methodologies including carbon fibre strengthening, reinforced concrete deck overlays, and in the case of Bridge No. 3, a full deck replacement and beam upgrade.
The strengthening works will support the lifting of the current load limits imposed on the structures and the road network as a whole.
