The Alpine Shire requests a schedule of rates from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the grading and opening of 39.25km of the Dargo High Plains Road.
Site establishment works will include drain cleaning and forming, moisture conditioning, grading and compaction of the unsealed road after the seasonal closure. Works may also include the initial clearing of the unsealed road which will predominantly be fallen trees and debris.
Successful tenderer’s shall have prior experience in all aspects of unsealed road maintenance works including works on alpine roads, within a National Park and, in possible extreme alpine weather conditions.
