The Alpine Shire Council is seeking offers from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake the design, supply, construction and installation of an in-land river waterslide (non pump) built to Australian Standards AS3533.1- 1997 (revised in 2009) Amusement Rides and Devices at Bright River Pool.
The Contract provides for the whole of the works specified in Schedule 3.2 including:
1. Design of a waterslide (not pump operated) that meets Australian Standards AS3533.1- 1997 (revised in 2009) Amusement Rides and Devices with consideration for:
a. The LSV Design Assessment (attachment 1)
b. Maximising safety of users
c. Accounting for inland river environment
d. Ensuring appropriate clearances are adhered to
e. Design and installation of new footings in the designated areas (attachment 2)
f. Structure and shape of the waterslide (open, closed, straight, curvy)
2. Supply of all materials for the waterslide with consideration for:
a. Ease of cleaning
b. Anti-vandal materials where possible
3. Construction of the waterslide
4. Installation of the waterslide including new footings
5. Removal of any excess waste material resulting from the installation
6. Assessment of the completed waterslide installation and provision of relevant compliance documentation
