Myrtleford, Porepunkah and Mount Beauty Transfer Stations are three transfer stations run by the Alpine Shire Council and are responsible for accepting and diverting domestic waste.
The Myrtleford Transfer Station is located at 78 Morrisons Lane, Barwidgee, Victoria.
The Porepunkah Transfer Station is located at 87 Tip Road, Porepunkah, Victoria.
The Mount Beauty Transfer Station is located at Maddisons Lane, Mount Beauty, Victoria.
The Alpine Shire Council requests tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to design and install appropriate fire suppression systems at Myrtleford, Porepunkah and Mount Beauty Transfer Stations. The intended outcome is to design and instal fire protection systems (i.e., static water tanks/fire hydrants, pumps and hoses) to comply with the Management and Storage of Combustible Recyclable and Waste Materials Guideline (CRWM Guideline - Version 1667.3).
