The Alpine Shire Council has an underground fuel storage facility located at Council’s Works Depot in Mount Beauty, Victoria. This facility is not in use and need to be decommissioned in accordance with EPA Victoria regulations. The Council has resolved to remove the underground fuel storage tank.
The Alpine Shire Council is seeking quotations from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to decommission the underground fuel storage tank at the Mount Beauty depot in accordance with the Project Scope of Works documented in Section 3.2 and in accordance with AS4976-2008 Section 3 which makes specific provisions regarding procedures for decommissioning tanks that are to be taken out of service.
