The Alpine Shire Council is seeking offers from suitably qualified and experienced suppliers and contractors for the provision of air conditioning to Myrtleford Memorial Hall, 154 – 156 Myrtle Street, Myrtleford.
The Myrtleford Memorial Hall built in 1925 is a heritage listed building that by approximately 1968 had seen a change of façade and the addition of a foyer space, attached to amenities leading onto the main auditorium. It’s construction in 1925 and was of great significance to the town of Myrtleford. The Myrtleford Memorial Hall is now to be internally refurbished and extended to provide the new home for the Myrtleford Visitor Information Centre.
It will be necessary to install a climate control system which will be capable of maintaining an ambient temperature of 20oC – 24oC throughout the auditorium and in the entrance foyer, during periods of use, in seasonal external temperatures of 0oC – 40oC. The system will need to allow for separate operation of the Visitor Information Centre, the kitchenette, accessible toilet and meeting rooms area and the remaining auditorium and stage area.
