Tawonga Community Hall is the subject of a major upgrade to meet current building standards, increase its economic and social benefits to the community and meet expanded user requirements. Alpine Shire is managing the project which is funded by Bushfire Recovery Victoria.
The current septic system is well past its service date and is inadequate for the activities proposed for the Hall. The recently completed Land Capability and Management Plan for the site shows that the wastewater from the proposed levels of activity in the Hall can be treated to 20/30 (secondary) standard with full disposal on site via suitably sized Rhizopod style transpiration beds.
This tender is for the design, supply and installation of the necessary treatment infrastructure, process and control systems, and commissioning of new treatment plant at the Hall.
