Alpine Shire Council requests tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the rehabilitation of approx. 1363 m2 of road pavement using in situ stabilisation methodology.
Council has experienced good results using insoluble polymer stabilising agents during pavement rehabilitation programs and prefers this method of in situ stabilisation. However, given the unknown composition of the existing road pavement, consideration for alternative stabilising agents will be made and provision for the use of alternative binders is included in the Lump Sum Tender Schedule.
