This tender seeks to deliver the design and construction of a shed at Myrtleford Transfer Station, that will house a Tip Shop. supported by the Circular Economy Councils Fund, delivered by Sustainability Victoria under the Victorian Government’s circular economy policy, Recycling Victoria: A new economy.
The creation of the Tip Shop will provide facilities to allow Alpine Shire community members to participate in circular economy activities, by diverting useable items from landfill. The general public will have the opportunity to donate and to purchase items at very low prices at the Tip Shop before they are disposed of at the transfer station. This will provide numerous environmental, social and economic benefits.
