The Invitation to Tender comprises three separable portions:
Portion A: Fibbiales Bridge, Myrtleford
Structure upgrade and deck replacement of a single lane vehicle bridge. The bridge provides
property owner access from a council road over the Buffalo Creek.
The structure of the bridge is currently in serviceable condition, however the deck and pedestrian
railings on the bridge are at the end of their serviceable life and need replacement. While replacing
these components there is an opportunity to strengthen the existing beams of the bridge.
Portion B: Hicks Lane Bridge, Dederang
Deck replacement and installation of bridge kerb on a short single lane vehicle bridge. This bridge
provides access from a council road to a single property over Glen Creek. The bridge currently has
no rails or kerb, and the deck has reached the end of its serviceable life.
Portion C: Barwidgee Creek Railtrail Bridge, Myrtleford
Deck replacement. The bridge currently has several loose timbers and many that are rotten. Most
are due for replacement. The Bridge traffic consists of cyclists and pedestrians.
