The Alpine Shire requests tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors for the
renewal and the construction of paths at several locations in Bright and Myrtleford.
The Invitation to Tender comprises three separable portions:

Portion A - Prices Rd, Bright
An existing path on Prices Rd, starting at Gavan St currently provides shared path access to the
Murray to Mountains rail trail that leads out of Bright toward Porepunkah. This section of path
needs reinstating to a 2.0m width with an asphalt surface suitable for shared traffic. The intersection
at the Gavan St end also requires realignment.

Portion B – Churchill Ave, Bright
Construction of a new concrete footpath is required on Churchill Ave to complete a missing section
that exists between the Tasman Parks South Bright Caravan Park driveway and Alrima Ct.
Completion of this new section of path will complete the footpath access to town for the new
housing further along Churchill Ave in Sundown Crescent.

Portion C – Myrtleford Splashpark, Myrtleford
Construction of a new asphalt path along Happy Valley Creek from the existing Jubilee Park bridge
to the new splashpark. This new path will link Jubilee Park and the Myrtleford CBD with the newly
constructed Myrtleford Splashpark.
