The Alpine Shire requests tenders from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to undertake drainage improvement works to Pioneer Park Football / Cricket oval in Bright. The existing oval drainage is very limited and winter conditions of the oval can be poor. Funding has been received from Sport and Recreation Victoria to enable some oval drainage improvement works to be undertaken. The intended outcome is improved oval surface conditions for winter sporting matches and reduced oval maintenance prior to summer cricket matches.
The scope of works includes provision of sub surface drainage to part of the oval, connection existing to site drainage, re-grassing of trenched areas and maintenance of the affected oval surface.
