Purpose:
This project aims to identify heavy vehicle parameters based on Austroads’ Automatic Vehicle Classification which can be used in traffic models for Australia and New Zealand. The study will also include analysis of larger heavy vehicle combinations that are commonly used in Australia. The parameters identified as part of this project study would be of interest/use to ANZ road agencies, providing input into the most commonly used traffic model assessment tools including SIDRA, LINSIG, VISSIM and AIMSUN.
Deliverables:
1/ A Research Report Including:
- project outcome findings
- tables which will specify parameters for the range of heavy vehicles commonly used in Australia that can be easily incorporated into traffic model software
- recommended updates to the Guide to Traffic Management
2/ Dissemination Webinar
Also included is a copy of our Consultancy Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
