Purpose:
The purpose of this project is to develop an extended Austroads vehicle classification scheme that enables improved understanding and monitoring of the evolving vehicle mix on Australasian roads in traffic / transport surveys.


Deliverables:
Phase 1: Inception and planning
Project Plan

Phase 2: SWOT analysis
Research Report

Phase 3: Options development
document the options and its recommendations in the draft research report

Phase 4: Development of the extended scheme
Development of a diagrammatic or tabular representation of the extended classification scheme as an attachment to the research report
Drafting of updates to the Austroads Guides
Formalising the jurisdictional impact assessment and implementation plan
Finalisation of the research report capturing findings of all project phases

Also included as part of this tender are the following documents:
• Instructions for Authors of Austroads Publications which sets out the writing and formatting standards for research, technical and internal reports.
• Master Services Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
All submissions are to be submitted as a PDF at a maximum size of 10MB.
All submissions are to include a completed Tender Proposal Coversheet.

All submissions are to include a statement as to how the respondent proposes to undertake the work, and keep to the agreed deadlines, given the current and proposed requirements and restrictions due to COVID-19.
