PURPOSE:
The purpose of this project is to provide comprehensive update to the AGRD to ensure all road user groups and also all road stereotypes are included in all Parts of the Guide to Road Design.
DELIVERABLES:
This project will produce the following deliverables:
• Research Report providing the background and considerations in updating the Guide as follows
• Updated GRD
o all Parts (comprehensive coverage/links for all user groups) (possibly as user group subheadings in all relevant parts)
o all Parts (improved stereotype guidance for local government roads including streets) (possibly stereotype subheadings in all relevant parts)
o AGRD Part 2 & Network-wide Road Design Guidance link to the Network Design Guideline
o Add street stereotypes to the Guideline
• An Implementation Plan which may be included into the Research Report
• 101 training style webinar – module explaining AGRD component structure and matrix of road user group and stereotypes that is supported across all parts.
• Research background webinar (if ordered and confirmed by program manager)
Also included as part of this tender are the following documents:
• Instructions for Authors of Austroads Publications which sets out the writing and formatting standards for research, technical and internal reports.
• Master Services Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
All submissions are to be submitted as a PDF at a maximum size of 10MB.
All submissions are to include a completed Tender Proposal Coversheet.
The naming convention for submissions is: [your Company name] – [Project No.] – [any internal reference numbers].
All submissions are to include a statement as to how the respondent proposes to undertake the work, and keep to the agreed deadlines, given the current and proposed requirements and restrictions due to COVID-19.
