Purpose/ Objective:

The purpose of this project is to provide an evidenced assessment of the safety implications of the current documentation for restricted access heavy vehicle (RAV) to access level crossings. This project will define and evidence the problem to inform future research into options for a more streamlined and / or automated process managing heavy vehicle access across level crossings –considering technology and or cost-effective infrastructure and non-infrastructure solutions.
Deliverables:

This project will produce the following deliverables:

Management products:
1. Project plan including product and quality criteria, and time schedule
2. Stakeholder engagement plan
3. Data management plan
4. Risks and issues log
5. Records of meetings, engagement and consultation
6. Quality management plan
7. Fortnightly checkpoint reports
8. Monthly progress reports

Interim products:
1. Stage 1: Draft Scoping Study

Final product:
1. Final Scoping Study

Tender submissions must include a description of the Final products based on the Project Schedule Level 2 tables below.

Also included as part of this tender are the following documents:
• Writing & Format Requirements for Austroads Publications which sets out the writing and formatting standards for research, technical and internal reports.
• Master Services Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
