Purpose:

Austroads seeks responses from appropriately experienced service providers to:

• Provide guidance on installation of Electric Vehicle (EV) infrastructure for asset owners and electric vehicle infrastructure installers in rural and regional areas of Australia and New Zealand


Objective:

The objective of this project is to provide best practice planning, design, installation and maintenance guidance for implementing EV charging infrastructure in remote and rural areas.

These guidelines may influence the development of formal Australian Standards, the development of the national policy, and may assist land owners to select optimal locations.

The output will be an research report on this project and an update of Austroads existing ‘Guidelines for Low and Zero Emission Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Installation’.


Deliverables:

This project will produce the following deliverables:

• Research Report containing findings of the project
• A set of Guidelines for EV Charging in remote and rural areas
• Webinar


Also included as part of this tender are the following documents:

• Writing & Format Requirements for Austroads Publications which sets out the writing and formatting standards for research, technical and internal reports.
• Master Services Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
