The Australian Transport Assessment and Planning (ATAP) Guidelines Steering Committee is seeking submissions for development of a research project to the review and update of ATAP PV2 Freight Travel Time Vaues and development of new values for Freight Travel Time Reliability Values

This project aims to improve the freight travel time parameter values reported in the ATAP Guidelines. The aim of the project is to develop updated values for:
• Value of freight travel time; and
• Value of freight travel time reliability

This will be achieved by investigating recent research on estimating these values and using this information to design and implement a market research survey to gather data on freight travel time values being used in Australia.

A Project Working Group has been established with representatives from both ATAP and the Austroads to oversee this project on behalf of the ATAP Steering Committee. Austroads is providing procurement and contract management on behalf of the ATAP Steering Committee for this project.

Responses will be evaluated by a selection committee based on the assessment criteria listed in the Project Brief. The selection committee will provide recommendations to the ATAP Steering Committee Chair for decision.
