Purpose:
To determine where there is opportunity to further embed Safe System into the AGTM series in collaboration with the Safety & Road Design Taskforce based on recent research.
The AGTM provides guidance to practitioners on treatment selection, such as intersection treatments, therefore plays an important role influencing treatments used on road networks. As contemporary practice in the area of Safe System is evolving there is an opportunity we could use the information already gained to feed into the scope of future guide updates.
Deliverables:
Developing new or revised content for the AGTM to strengthen the guidance relating to treatments and their likely effectiveness in aligning with Safe System philosophy.
Dissemination webinar.
