Purpose:
The purpose of this project is to achieve timely updates to the Guide to Road Design in response to issues raised by industry and stakeholders.
The intent of this project is to deliver as many as possible small amendments to the Guides to Road Design (GRD) within the budget. The detailed work of this project will rely primarily on utilising existing information available (for example documentation held by road authorities and industry, captured learning / experiences, overseas information where information from a local context is not available) thereby restricting the consultant from undertaking new research
Deliverables:
The project will provide a comprehensive, best practice design guide, updated to reflect contemporary practices and made available to practitioners.

Also included as part of this tender are the following documents:
* Instructions for Authors of Austroads Publications which sets out the writing and formatting standards for research, technical and internal reports.
* Master Services Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
All submissions are to be submitted as a PDF at a maximum size of 10MB.
All submissions are to include a completed Tender Proposal Coversheet.

All submissions are to include a statement as to how the respondent proposes to undertake the work, and keep to the agreed deadlines, given the current and proposed requirements and restrictions due to COVID-19.
