Purpose:
The purpose of this project is to enable road users to identify and use Low and Zero Emission Vehicles (LZEV) related infrastructure.
Deliverables:
This FLZ6261 project is expected to produce the following deliverables:
• A short report on International practice and proposals relating to LZEV signage with a focus on the work already completed by New Zealand.
• A recommended approved symbol to illustrate an electric-powered vehicle – to be used on parking control signs for Road Rule no. 203B
• A recommended approved symbol to illustrate an electric-powered charging vehicle (being charged) – to be used on parking control signs for Road Rule no. 203C
• A recommended approved symbol to illustrate a charging station for battery electric vehicles (similar to a petrol station) – to be used on information signs (the blue signs).
• A proposed symbol for hydrogen powered vehicles, suitable for use on information and regulation signs
• A proposed symbol and sign concepts for controlling access to lanes and roadways designated for electric and hydrogen powered vehicles.
Also included as part of this tender are the following documents:
• Instructions for Authors of Austroads Publications which sets out the writing and formatting standards for research, technical and internal reports.
• Master Services Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
All submissions are to be submitted as a PDF at a maximum size of 10MB.
All submissions are to include a completed Tender Proposal Coversheet.
The naming convention for submissions is: [your Company name] – [Project No.] – [any internal reference numbers].
All submissions are to include a statement as to how the respondent proposes to undertake the work, and keep to the agreed deadlines, given the current and proposed requirements and restrictions due to COVID-19.
