Purpose:
The purpose of this project is to support the management, development and adaptation of the member agencies’ Smart Motorways operational capabilities.
Deliverables:
Phase 1: Inception and planning
Development of a project plan
Phase 2: Future trends analysis
A document the future trends analysis in a draft research report.
Phase 3: Smart motorways classification model
This phase will develop a model to classify the range of motorway types that exist and are likely to exist amongst Austroads’ member agencies. The consultant will document the Smart motorways classification model in the draft research report.
Phase 4: Smart motorways integration framework
The consultant will document the Smart motorways integration framework in the draft research report.
Phase 5: Smart motorways capability framework
The consultant will finalise the research report by incorporating the outputs of this phase.
Following publication, the consultant will support Austroads in the communications of the project output by preparing and presenting at an Austroads webinar.
Also included as part of this tender are the following documents:
• Instructions for Authors of Austroads Publications which sets out the writing and formatting standards for research, technical and internal reports.
• Master Services Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
All submissions are to be submitted as a PDF at a maximum size of 10MB.
All submissions are to include a completed Tender Proposal Coversheet.
The naming convention for submissions is: [your Company name] – [Project No.] – [any internal reference numbers].
All submissions are to include a statement as to how the respondent proposes to undertake the work, and keep to the agreed deadlines, given the current and proposed requirements and restrictions due to COVID-19.
