Purpose:
This project would investigate the performance benefits of passing lanes in terms of the corridor:
•safety performance
•journey performance
•customer desires and expectations.
Deliverables:
A research report summarising the benefits of passing lanes, and a webinar (including a question and answer session) that presents the summary of the research findings.
The webinar would be available to Australian and New Zealand network managers and their consultants. It is also expected that the research may inform updates to the the Austroads Guide to Road Design, Guide to Road Safety or Guide to Traffic Management.
We have included our Consultancy Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note, our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
