Purpose:
Update Austroads guidance to ensure that Australian and New Zealand state and local governments have access to up-to-date pedestrian planning and design information that reflects national and international good practice.
To provide road authorities with the tools to achieve a consistent approach to walking provision to reduce congestion, reduce pedestrian fatalities and injuries, and achieve more liveable and walkable towns and cities.
To develop training to build both capability and capacity within road authorities to achieve better pedestrian operational and safety outcomes.
Deliverables:
• Updated content for Austroads guides
• Research Report summarising project findings
• Six webinars delivered at the completion of the project to build capacity amongst practitioners (delivered once each and recorded for hosting on the Austroads website for general access by practitioners as a learning tool)
Also included is a copy of our Consultancy Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note, our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
