Purpose:
Definitive guidance on the assessment of naturally occurring roadbuilding materials and alternative solutions, including processed materials and mechanical or chemical stabilised materials, for asset planning and maintenance purposes.
Development and dissemination of a comprehensive assessment framework and a suite of case studies which provide practical examples to practitioners of the optimum usage of non-standard road building materials in both sealed and unsealed roads, and alternative solutions, with each evaluated on a life cycle cost (LCC) basis.
Deliverables:
This Research project is expected to produce the following deliverables:
A technical report and case studies which illustrate good practice in the assessment of the optimum use of naturally occurring materials in road pavements for sealed and unsealed roads, and alternative solutions.
A series of regional workshops and training events to receive input to the development and dissemination of the procedures and case studies, and an end of project webinar.
Also included is a copy of the Consultancy Agreement for your review. Please note our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
