Purpose:
The project will seek to review the policy measures and other initiatives that have been designed and / or implemented in ANZ or internationally to improve the quality and renewal rate of heavy vehicles specifically considering the freight tasks that most rely on end-of-life heavy vehicles.

Deliverables:
The outputs of the project will include:
• Austroads research report capturing the findings of the project
• Dissemination webinar to inform stakeholders on the outcomes of the project
All recommendations provided by the selected Consultant as part of the project are required to be accompanied at a minimum by a high-level qualitative assessment of costs and efforts that would be incurred by the Austroads members for their implementation. Jurisdictions impact will be discussed and assessed collaboratively throughout the project between the Project manager, the Project Working Group and the selected Consultant.
All data / datasets captured and /or generated as part of the project form part of the project outputs that the selected Consultant is responsible to deliver to Austroads. Direction regarding the expected output format of the data / datasets will be sought by the Consultant during the project through the Austroads Project Manager.
