Purpose:
This project will develop a series of ‘short and sharp’ learning modules on specific traffic management topics, designed to efficiently introduce traffic management fundamentals and emerging topics, in a flexible and modern environment.
The project will consider what learning materials are already available from the ANZ jurisdictions, including existing work by NSW RMS, DPTI SA and MRWA.
Deliverables:
• A series of ‘short and sharp’ learning modules on specific traffic management topics.
• A research report that captures the literature review and the proposed approach to the learning modules.
• A webinar that introduces the learning approach and learning material.
The Tenderers are invited to describe in their proposals:
• their initial view on the training structure that would be developed as part of the project, based on the Tenderers’ knowledge of the AGTM and traffic management disciplines,
• how they intend to develop learning material that is engaging, comprehensive and broad-reaching in terms of audience,
• what options they consider in terms of ‘look and feel’ of the learning material (i.e. e-learning, other technical solution proposed to host the learning material on the basis it can be made available through / via the Austroads website and is ultimately aligned with Austroads branding and formatting requirements), and
• additional material that is proposed to be developed as part of the project (e.g. knowledge testing tool, gamification of learning).
All recommendations provided by the selected Consultant as part of the project are required to be accompanied at a minimum by a high-level qualitative assessment of costs and efforts that would be incurred by the Austroads members for their implementation. Jurisdictions impact will be discussed and assessed collaboratively throughout the project between the Project manager, the Project Working Group and the selected Consultant.
All data / datasets captured and /or generated as part of the project form part of the project outputs that the selected Consultant is responsible to deliver to Austroads. Direction regarding the expected output format of the data / datasets will be sought by the Consultant during the project through the Austroads Project Manager.
Also included as part of this tender are the following documents:
- Instructions for Authors of Austroads Publications which sets out the writing and formatting standards for research, technical and internal reports.
- Master Services Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
