Purpose:
The purpose of this project is to better understand the extent to which Automatic Crash Notification (ACN) systems, including eCall and similar services, can support improved road safety outcomes on Australian and New Zealand roads, and apply learnings from overseas to the Australian and New Zealand contexts. This would form Stage One of a two stage project where Stage Two would be a detailed cost-benefit analysis of the ACN options (noting Stage Two would be subject to Austroads Board approval).
Deliverables:
The primary deliverable of the project is a research report. As part of preparing this the tender will also produce the following deliverables:
• Project Plan and detailed scope, including data management plan and proposed report structure.
• Draft chapter(s) detailing outcomes of literature review
• Draft chapter(s) detailing outcomes of stakeholder consultation
• Draft research report
• Final report
• Webinar
Also included as part of this tender are the following documents:
• Writing & Format Requirements for Austroads Publications which sets out the writing and formatting standards for research, technical and internal reports.
• Master Services Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
All submissions are to be submitted as a PDF at a maximum size of 10MB.
All submissions are to include a completed Tender Proposal Coversheet.
