Purpose/Objective:
Support development of road design capability to deliver high quality, context-sensitive road designs sought by members, by providing training material.
Deliverables:
This project will produce the following deliverables:
• Project plan.
• Project progress report, maintained throughout the whole project lifecycle, to be updated monthly.
• An internal report, maintained throughout the project lifecycle, is to be updated as appropriate to address the methodology and the milestone tasks. At each milestone tasks, the internal report will need to be reviewed by PCG and RDTF. The internal report should document the following:
o Road design training need.
o Existing road design training options in Australia and New Zealand and confirm the training gap, building on the findings of SRD6370.
o Desktop and literature review.
o Stakeholder engagement, workshops with jurisdictions. Workshop with RDTF and jurisdictional representatives currently involved with road design training and delivery. Engagement with industry bodies and private section currently delivering training.
o Options/solutions/recommendations for the development of training material and a sustainable model for ongoing training delivery, including video-based training content.
• Road design training materials, 1st draft, 2nd draft and final. Training materials must be built consistent with Australian VET standards (see ASQA for details)
• Final updated Internal Report documenting all project activity and recommending model for ongoing training delivery
Also included as part of this tender are the following documents:
• Writing & Format Requirements for Austroads Publications which sets out the writing and formatting standards for research, technical and internal reports.
• Master Services Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
All submissions are to be submitted as a PDF at a maximum size of 10MB.
All submissions are to include a completed Tender Proposal Coversheet.
