The Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) through Austroads, is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) for the supply and management of a Cooperative Intelligent Transport System (C-ITS) security credential management system (SCMS) for use by pilot projects. The purpose of this EOI is to scan the market and obtain information on available service providers’ products and capability. EOI responses will be available for use by Australian federal, state and territory governments to inform C-ITS pilots, policy, strategies and procurement activities.
The conduct of this EOI process is not intended to give rise to any legal or equitable relationship. No Respondent will be entitled to claim compensation or loss from the Principal for any matter arising out of this EOI process.
In addition to informing the Australian government on SCMS market maturity, this EOI will be used to inform the first stage of the procurement process for the Queensland C-ITS Pilot Project. From the responses received, respondents will be shortlisted using the evaluation criteria stated in this document. An Invitation to Offer may then be forwarded to the shortlisted respondent(s) seeking an offer for the supply of the requirements. The Pilot Project reserves the right not to proceed to future procurement stages. Specifics around Intellectual Property (IP), licensing, data access, data ownership etc. will be addressed in future stages, should they proceed.
By lodging a response to this EOI, the Respondent and Austroads will sign a Mutual Confidentially Agreement. Please contact Tracey Hurn - Project Support Manager at Austroads thurn@austroads.com.au to organise signing of the Mutual Confidentiality Agreement.
Extensions for submissions will be granted by request. Please submit extension requests to Tracey Hurn - Project Support Manager at Austroads thurn@austroads.com.au
