Purpose
The purpose of this project is to provide guidance to agencies wanting to provide data and information to road users through a cloud connected device.
Deliverables:
A research report and Guideline will be delivered for this project. Product Descriptions are summarised below:
SP1: Review of Cloud-Connected Road User Support Models – a report that describes the likely future for cloud connected road users and how agencies best participate within this environment. This report must describe the existing major worldwide cloud connectivity data provision business models and practices, and trends that are or will potentially affect these models and practices over the next 10 years. It must also evaluate the identified business models and identify the most relevant one/s that will need to be supported by Austroads members along with the required capability changes.
SP2: Guideline for Providing Data to Cloud-Connected Road Users – a reference Guideline that uses the findings of SP1, and describes practical implementation guidance and steps to implement capabilities to support the likely model/s for cloud-connected road user data provision by agencies. This Guideline needs to be useable and practical for all Austroads member agencies.
Also included as part of this tender are the following documents:
• Instructions for Authors of Austroads Publications which sets out the writing and formatting standards for research, technical and internal reports.
• Master Services Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
All submissions are to be submitted as a PDF at a maximum size of 10MB.
All submissions are to include a completed Tender Proposal Coversheet.
The naming convention for submissions is: [your Company name] – [Project No.] – [any internal reference numbers].
All submissions are to include a statement as to how the respondent proposes to undertake the work, and keep to the agreed deadlines, given the current and proposed requirements and restrictions due to COVID-19.
