Tender Details
Purpose:

The purpose of this project is to inform and guide agencies on how best to provide support to TMC and field staff in critical and traumatic incidents and manage workforce fatigue in general.


Objective:

The objective of this project is to provide Traffic/Transport Management Centre (TMC) managers and Austroads agencies with guidance on how to provide:

• support for TMC and field staff during critical and traumatic incidents and to manage other psychosocial hazards
• proactively manage TMC workforce hazards caused by fatigue.
This guidance when used by agencies, should reduce national TMC absenteeism levels caused by such hazards by at least 10% within the first year of implementation, and improve staff retention and efficiency at TMCs.


Deliverables:

This project will produce the following deliverables:

Management products:

1. Project plan including product and quality criteria, and time schedule
2. Stakeholder engagement plan
3. Data management plan
4. Risks and issues log
5. Records of meetings, engagement and consultation
6. Quality management plan
7. Weekly checkpoint reports
8. Monthly progress reports
9. Traceability matrices demonstrating how the Composition items have been met by the interim and final products.

Interim products:

1. Stage 1: Draft report research section
2. Stage 2: Draft best practice guidance section (and updated research section). Note this is to be delivered following release of a hold point by Austroads.

Final product:

1. Final report incorporating both research and best practice guidance, and delivery of a one-hour webinar.


Also included as part of this tender are the following documents:

• Writing & Format Requirements for Austroads Publications which sets out the writing and formatting standards for research, technical and internal reports.
• Master Services Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.
