Purpose:

Austroads seeks responses from appropriately experienced service providers to:
• Provide advice to Austroads and assist in the development of audits to assess National Exchange of Vehicle and Driver Information System (NEVDIS) users’ compliance with their contractual obligations
• Conduct risk-based audits of NEVDIS users (auditees) on behalf of Austroads, focusing on compliance, access controls, and data protection measures
• Identify and assess auditee non-compliances, opportunities for improvement and potential risks
• Deliver audit reports, findings, and recommendations to Austroads for tracking and ongoing management with auditees
• Review agreements and contracts and provide recommendations on amendments/changes to align with current relevant standards, laws and best practices (optional).

Deliverables:

This engagement will produce the following deliverables:
• Audits developed in line with NEVDIS user contractual obligations and legal requirements
• Audit outcome reports for each of the phase 1 auditees
• Audit outcome reports for each of the phase 2 auditees
• Analysis and report on current agreements and contract that includes (optional):
o Review of the clauses for wording, structure content and relevance with respect to data security and auditing.
o Recommendations on amendments/changes to align with current relevant standards, policies and best practices
• Final engagement report detailing outcomes of the entire audit process and long term recommendations.
