PURPOSE:
The purpose of this request for Expressions of Interest (EOI) is to identify appropriately qualified and suitably motivated experts and practitioners to contribute to Austroads project SAG6365 Charting a Path to Elimination of Death and Serious Injury through:
1) membership of an Expert Advisory Committee
2) delivering project management activities
This project will deliver guidance and technical advice to road safety leaders, road managers and practitioners in road design, vehicle registration, driver licensing and enforcement to support integrated and coordinated planning across all pillars of the Safe System to deliver on Australia’s and New Zealand’s targets for the elimination of road deaths and serious injuries by 2050.

Austroads seeks expressions of interest to join the Expert Advisory Committee from suitably motivated and qualified:
• road safety champions
• road safety and related experts across a range of disciplines and from various local and international jurisdictions
• health and/or safety experts
• public policy experts.
Austroads seeks expressions of interest from experienced project managers that will work with the Austroads Road Safety Task Force and its representatives to plan and coordinate the various project elements.
Additional procurement activity will follow the appointment of project management team and the establishment of the expert advisory committee.
