PURPOSE:
Inform planning for and policy advice, considerations and decisions on accommodating increased steer and drive axle masses on freight vehicles and buses by providing an evidence base for such advice, considerations and decisions
• Specific policy recommendations (such as whether or not to adopt a specific increased limit) are not an anticipated part of this project
• In forming this evidence base, leverage and build upon both AP-R505-16 National Steer Axle Mass Limits and National Asset Centre of Excellence (NACoE) project R139 Review of possible changes to heavy vehicle mass and dimensions through the adoption of low and zero emission technologies
DELIVERABLES:
This project will produce the following deliverables:
• Project Plan, including Stakeholder Engagement Plan and Data Management Plan
• Inception presentation to PCG
• Progressively developed chapters and appendices for the Research Report
• Periodic (milestone-based) presentations to PCG
• Austroads Research Report [text]
• Webinar and response to webinar questions
• Project data with populated metadata spreadsheet

All submissions are to be submitted as a PDF at a maximum size of 10MB.
All submissions are to include a completed Tender Proposal Coversheet.
