Purpose

Austroads seeks responses from appropriately experienced service providers to fill selected road design guidance gaps, correct inconsistencies, deliver opportunities for harmonisation and document further opportunities to update guidance.

Deliverables:

This project will produce the following deliverables:
• Project plan & detailed scope/deliverables – to be agreed with the project manager prior to commencing further project activities
• Targeted literature/evidence review and scan of practice
• Assessment of selected, correction of inconsistencies, delivery of opportunities for harmonisation and documenting of further opportunities to update guidance.
• Development of options/solutions/recommendations to be reviewed by Project Control Group and endorsed by the Road Design Task Force
• Updated guidance and guidelines (as required)
• Risk Score Calculator
• Reporting, including summary literature/evidence review and scan of practice findings, and a comprehensive final report
• Two webinars
• Implementation Plan that identifies actions that Austroads collectively and jurisdictions individually can take to support road designers and managers to act on the new guidance and adopt the new risk score calculator.

Also included as part of this tender are the following documents:

• Writing & Format Requirements for Austroads Publications which sets out the writing and formatting standards for research, technical and internal reports.
• Master Services Agreement outlining our Terms and Conditions. Please note that our Terms and Conditions are not negotiable.

All submissions are to be submitted as a PDF at a maximum size of 10MB.

All submissions are to include a completed Tender Proposal Coversheet.
