Purpose:
The purpose of this project is to define and document the business requirements for a knowledge sharing framework that would assist data discovery and collaboration based on Data Standard referenced road asset data. It is intended that these requirements then be matched against existing systems, channels and analytical capabilities within industry and those hosted by government entities.
Deliverables:
1. An initial Set of Business Requirements that support Austroads in facilitating data collaboration based on data standard compliant data.
2. Market and Government Scan of existing capability.
3. Gap Assessment identifying deficiencies in technologies and capabilities required to achieve the Business Requirements.
4. Final Paper outlining recommended business requirements and market options (including cost estimates for Board consideration).
