The community of Galiwin’ku is located in the East Arnhem region of the Northern Territory, 520km east of Darwin. This remote Island community is accessible by air and sea only. Freight delivery is typically by sea barge.
The Works Site is considered to be select roads within the community as specifically documented within the Scope of Works
The Works generally comprise:
- Rectification of localised defects inclusive of potholes and cracking;
- Pavement replenishment and sealing in select areas where degradation is significant;
- General resealing; and
- Specified drainage works.
