REQUEST FOR OPEN TENDER
CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR THE PRODUCTION OF CLIMATE CHANGE & RESILIENCE SHORT VIDEOS
Background
One of the key regional priorities of the Pacific Islands Forum Leaders is climate change and resilience.
To contribute to the ongoing advocacy and visibility of the climate change and resilience work that is happening across the Blue Pacific, the Secretariat will work with selected Members to develop treatment scripts for 2-minute visual stories profiling the collaborative work being done with other partners, including CROP, in the space of climate change and resilience. Based on the workstreams under the Resilience Team, results and lessons learnt from implementing activities will be documented into a proposed ‘I am the Blue Pacific: Stories of climate and disaster resilience’ series of short informative videos.
Requests for Tender are invited from experienced video producers or production companies available from May 2021.
Purpose
The purpose of the consultancy service is to coordinate the production and editing of five video stories shot by crews in selected countries across different locations of the Pacific. The “I am the Blue Pacific: Stories of climate & disaster resilience’ series will cover the above themes and be filmed across the following Forum Islands Countries namely, Cook Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tahiti, Tonga, Tuvalu and Fiji.
Scope of Work
The consultant(s) is required to work closely with the PIFS Public Affairs and Resilience teams in order to deliver broadcast quality outputs for this activity. For more details of the tender, please download the Terms of Reference at www.tenders.net/forumsec.
