PRINTING SERVICE FOR THE BLUE PACIFIC OCEAN REPORT (BPOR) 2021

Background

The Office of the Pacific Ocean Commissioner has produced ocean related publications that will need to be reprinted.
The publications include the Blue Pacific Ocean Report (BPOR) 2021, a children’s illustration book and a colouring book titled “Our Sea of Islands, Our Blue Pacific.

These publications will be freighted to the Forum Member countries- Australia, Cook Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, French Polynesia, Kiribati, Nauru, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Niue, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Republic of Marshall Islands, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu, and Vanuatu.

Purpose

OPOC seeks a Printery contractor and a freight contractor or a contractor who can do both to print and send publications to selected designations.

Preference will be given to printers who are able to arrange delivery to respective destinations.

Scope of Work

1. The Service Provider will carry out the responsibilities and tasks as set out under the Terms of Reference (TOR) document which can be downloaded from www.tenders.net/forumsec
2. The reprinting of the publications will require 1500 copies of the BPOR and 6,000 copies of the illustrated children’s book and colouring book respectively.
3. Once printed, copies of each publication will need to be sent to the member countries of the Forum.

Method of Submissions:

Submissions must be forwarded in PDF format following the instructions at www.tenders.net/forumsec

Note: Tenders must be submitted with clear labelling of the technical offer and the financial offer. The Technical Offer documents must be saved and submitted clearly labelled “A. Technical Offer”. Financial Offer documents must be saved and submitted clearly labelled “B. Financial Offer”.

The electronically submitted documents should be converted to the PDF format.

Deadline for Submissions:

Submissions need to reach the Secretariat by 4pm, Friday, 15 October 2021.

Late or incomplete tenders will not be considered.

Questions and Answers

All queries or request for information must be submitted via the Question and Answer Forum at www.tenders.net/forumsec . Tenderers may submit questions in writing to the mentioned Question and Answer Forum before the stated “deadline for requesting clarifications” 8 October 2021. The Secretariat has no obligation to provide clarification after this date.
