REQUEST FOR OPEN TENDER

PIFS REGIONAL CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE

Background

1. PIFS IT Infrastructure was initially designed to service a single office in Suva. Recently we have been mandated to connect to other satellite offices for sharing of common services.

2. PIFS will need to share common services with 3 other categories of offices that are located outside of Fiji. These are:
a. PTI network (Australia, New Zealand, China and Geneva (1 person))
b. Pacific Oceans Commission (Palau) (5 persons)
c. Subsidiary offices in Geneva (4 persons) and Kiribati (4 persons)

3. These common services are:
a. Access to the staff intranet portal
b. Access to the employee self-service portal
c. Access to secure sites for meeting papers
d. Library services and correspondence
e. Consolidation of software licensing

Azure Cloud Services
a. PIFS uses Microsoft Office365 with Azure AD hybrid version.
b. Azure AD is the next logical step to improve access to PIFS shared services such that other organizations and satellite offices can easily access PIFS information securely.
c. All future subsidiary organizations will need to use Azure services to connect.

Architecture design to link regional offices
a. The Secretariat, which used to operate as a standalone office in Suva, must improve its infrastructure in order to securely share common services as a result of decentralization of functions.

Purpose

Tender for the provision of Azure cloud services and Cloud architecture upgrade to facilitate implementation works for secure connectivity of remote offices.

Scope of Work

Design and implement a solution to: facilitate connectivity between PIFS in Suva with authorized offices for approved shared cloud and private services; and facilitate shared access between o365 tenants between @forumsec.org and approved domains on separate tenants as per specifications set out under the Terms of Reference (TOR) document, which can be downloaded from www.tenders.net/forumsec.
