RECRUITMENT OF A FINANCE AND ADMIN CONSULTANT (AID-FOR-TRADE)
The Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) is inviting tenders from interested English-speaking applicants for the position of an Admin and Finance Consultant (Aid-for-Trade).
The main activities for this assignment include (1) Facilitating memo approvals; (2) Planning and managing logistics for events; (3) Maintaining a proper filing system; (4) Processing administrative documents; (5) Managing finances of the PIF Geneva Office; (6) Supporting budget preparation, financial reporting, and audits; (7) Ensuring compliance with financial rules and budgets; and (8) Building capacity of relevant staff in administrative and financial processes.
We are looking for an English-speaking consultant with recognized qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, with experience in in administrative and financial management roles, strong organizational and computer skills, and preferably with experience in Pacific countries and regional institutions.
The consultancy is expected to commence on 12 April 2025 and conclude no later than 31 December 2027. The consultancy will be for 600 working days, with possible extension subject to performance review, continued need, and funding. INFORMATION
Only applicants who meet the following criteria are eligible to take part in tenders issued by the Secretariat:
• Are financially solvent and able to conduct business operations in a professional and successful manner;
• Are not involved in any court proceedings which may affect their ability to conduct business or deliver the services tendered; and
• Do not appear on the World Bank’s listing of ineligible firms.
