REQUEST FOR TENDER
Design and Facilitation - Regional Civil Society Forum 2017
The Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat (PIFS) through the EU funded “Strengthening Non-State Actors Engagement in Regional Policy Development and Implementation Programme” is seeking submissions from reputable and suitably qualified/experienced service providers to provide design and facilitation services for the Regional Civil Society Organization Forum to take place in Suva, Fiji in August 2017. The role is a short term engagement specifically for the facilitation of the event in August with some preparatory tasks in coordinating event design.
Key tasks include:
• Event program design, in consultation with stakeholders
• Facilitation of the CSO Forum
• Coordination support for linked activities
Please refer to the Terms of Reference for a more detailed description.
1. Instructions for applicants
Applicants interested in this role are asked to prepare a short document (2 pages) outlining:
- Experience relating to coordination and/or facilitation of CSO Events
- Understanding of regional policy processes
- Experience working with a diverse range of CSOs
- Concept of how you would approach this task with specific plans around (1) consultation on processes – selection, agenda setting; (2) design; and (3) facilitation)
- Estimated input time required over the period April – August 2017

2. General Terms and Conditions
Interested applicants are encouraged to provide written submissions including capability statements for the firm, a copy of your curriculum vitae of key staff assigned to the task as well as confirmation that the firm and/or key staff are not aware of any conflict of interest which may exist and a financial proposal in Fiji Dollars (FJD).
Bidder Ability:
By submitting a response to this “Request for Tender” (RFT) the applicant warrants that:
I. The applicant has the necessary skill, knowledge, experience and resources to comply with this RFT and capable of successfully completing the project.
II. The applicant meets relevant regulatory/statutory requirements for the jurisdiction in which the PIFS - NSA Programme is based.
III. In addition the applicant warrants that the applicant is not subject to any legal or regulatory process that may result in the de-registration of the applicant.
Language:
The applicant response must be in English.
Amendments:
Should the applicant become aware of any discrepancy, error or omission in the document submitted, and the applicant wish to lodge a correction or provide additional information, that material must be in writing.
